from your kettle as boiling water will scald.

Before first using your Kambrook Stainless  
Essentials Cordfree Kettle, we recommend  
that the kettle is filled to the maximum  
level, boiled and water discarded.Your  
kettle will only operate when positioned  
on the power base with the ON/OFF  
switch in the “ON” position.

Take care to hold the kettle level,  
especially when filled to the maximum level.

To re-boil it may be necessary to wait for  
a few seconds to allow the control to reset.  
The kettle may be stored on the power  
base when not in use.The power should  
be switched off from the power outlet and  
then unplugged when not in use.  
The kettle will automatically switch “OFF”  
once the water is boiled.  
WARNING: This appliance is  
designed for the boiling of water only,  
never use it to heat or boil any other  
liquids or foodstuff.The lid should always  
be firmly in place when using.  
To fill the kettle, remove it from the  
power base and open the lid by pulling up.

Should this occur, switch off at the power  
outlet and unplug.Allow the kettle to cool

Ensure the lid is closed and locked firmly  
into place before placing the kettle on the  
power base.

Position the kettle on the power base.  
Plug the cord into a 230 / 240 volt power  
outlet and then switch the power on. Flick  
the ON/OFF switch upwards.The power  
‘ON’ light will illuminate.

an additional thermal cut out. In the event  
of overheating, the kettle will automatically  
shut down to prevent further damage.

Removal of Mineral Deposits  
Mineral deposits in tap water may cause  
the kettle interior to discolour over time.  
This may be removed by using a kettle  
descaler which is available from most  
leading supermarkets, department and  
hardware stores.

Always switch appliance off, then switch  
off at the power outlet and then unplug  
before cleaning the appliance.

Replacement Warranty  
If the product includes one or a number of  
accessories only the defective accessory or  
product will be replaced.  
KAMBROOK warrants the purchaser  
against defects in workmanship and  
material, for a period of 12 months from  
the date of purchase (3 months  
commercial use).  
In the event of KAMBROOK choosing to  
replace the appliance, the guarantee will  
expire at the original date, ie. 12 months  
from the original purchase date.  
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE the  
appliance, power cord, base or plug in  
water or any other liquid.  
Alternatively: Fill the kettle with 3 cups  
of white vinegar and the remainder  
(up to 2/3 of maximum) with water,  
boil and allow to stand overnight.

Cleaning the Kettle Exterior  
& Removable Filter  
The stainless steel surface may be wiped  
over with a damp cloth and polished with  
a soft, clean dry cloth.  
Empty the solution from the kettle. Fill the  
kettle with clean water, bring to the boil  
and discard the water. Repeat and the  
kettle will be ready for use.

replace or repair the appliance within  
the warranty period.

discolouration due to mineral deposits  
will appear more obvious.The mineral  
deposits can leave a brown rust stain on  
the base.THIS IS NOT RUST.
